How Offering an Innovation Prize Energized Our Grant Making

Check out what Executive Director Amy Freitag and Chairman Peter Davidson of The J.M. Kaplan Fund have to say about The J.M.K. Innovation Prize in an op-ed issued by The Chronicle of Philanthropy. The Fund put out a call to anyone in America with a promising solution to a social problem, and in return, offered 10 prizes, each worth up to $175,000 over three years to help set a path toward success for fledgling non-profits.
